Uptate 11 And How I Learned To Hate The Word Beta

I have reached the winter of my refreshing. At 1:33 it told me that registration was now open. I clicked on, to find instructions and no links. I quickly signed myself into Xbox.com with my Passport ID as it said in the instructions. But i couldnt help but feel that that was wrong. It took me 5 minutes to discover that Safari had cursed me with BLACK text on a black background... Checking firefox showed me bright blue text. But it was already too late. The beta had been locked out. I have been getting a "busy" signal from the server for almost half an hour... that tells me no dice... fuck.

The above was briefly just another update in the long string from the previous Halo 3 beta post. But this warrents its own venue. Beta registraiton is over and I have come out of this a tired broken man. It's true I did not sleep. But i chose that. People are complaining that things are getting in the way of their video game registration... things shuold, LIFE should. I'm just a little upset with Bingie's giving us this great opertunity and told us everything we have to do, and for three days we have to play a total of 3 hours and all that, and then they don't give us the time for when registration is? I sat staing at my computer, the same flash animation for over 13 hours. When it changed, i at first didn't notice, and then immediately realized that something was not the same as it has been.

To then make us click through two pages to try and get to the registraiton is also a little obsurd. I say this becasue their Link that im sure on all Windows OS was in bright blue, on my Mac was not blue. No sir. It was Black, on a black background. Not knowing there was a link i logged into Xbox.com using my passport account. But it was too late for me. I hope they count how many times my ISP number hit their server. I hope I rang in more than anyone else from 12:00AM EST to 1:33PM. Well that certainly was a learning experience. I would love to go take a nap but i've gotten myself involved in Sneak King and i cant cut myself off... [end rant]
